Seems that Douglas' website is down. I'm looking for the specs on their heavy sporter contour. Have a rifle that I'm needing to swap the barrel on, it currently has a Douglas on it and I want to get the dimensions to make sure I'm going back with the correct contour in a different brand of barrel.

All manufacturers (Douglas, PacNor, Hart, Shilen, Bartlein, Hawkhill, Kreiger, etc...) have different barrel contour dimensions that vary several thousandths. No two “contours” are exactly the same with exception of the “Sendero” and the competition contour barrels.
Your choice of barrel manufacturers can duplicate the exact Douglas heavy spotter contour if you send them the barrel. Cost is around $25. That way it’s an exact precise fit .
