    The longest Harris bipod will get you a steady rest up to kneeling height. Since it’s attached to rifle and foldable, it’s easy for spot and stalk. Seated with your back up against a tree or fence post is a rock solid rest with it - nearly as solid as prone.

      I wish I were able to buy one of each and test each of them out. I think I'll settle on the Pig0311-G Field Tripod and the Pig Saddle for now.

        Good Choice. That should suit your needs well.

        I debated on the Pig 0311 tripod and the Slik 700 dx, but I decided on the Slik to save $40 since it’s the same Tripod just a different color and without a couple small mods.

          I want to buy the GNN FB 52 Ball Head too, but I was not able to figure out how to buy it and get the Arca Swiss plate before I leave for the weekend.
