    130 gr. Accubond and 6.5x55 Fieldcraft q's.

I'm going to load the 130 gr. Accubond in my 6.5 x 55 Fieldcraft for testing. What powders were you using and what was the best seating depth you came up with? COAL or ogive length is fine.

I've got IMR4831,H4831, IMR4350, H4350 and RL19. Nosler lists RL19 as the most accurate powder, but I hear it is temperature sensitive.

I've been loading the Scirocco and can get about .75 MOA, but I want to try the Accubond as well. It shoots .5 MOA in my 7/08. I know all rifles are different, I'm just looking for a starting point.

    Thanks!

I use the 130gr accubond in my 6.5x55 and I want to say I use the IMR4831. I’ll have to check tomorrow when I get home and give you more details. I get .5 moa out of mine.

I'm either going with IMR 4831 or H4831. What rifle do you have?

Would you like data from the Nosler reloading manual?

          Mitch,

I've looked at the data on the Nosler website. They listed 47.5 grains of RL19 as the most accurate powder. Does the book list anything different? I know sometimes they change data. Thanks!

I have an Old Swedish Mauser that has been sporterized.

Nice! My father had one that wa sporterized as well. It had an 18.5 inch barrel and a Weaver K4 scope with dot reticle. I used that gun for years as a kid. My father finally sold it in an "inventory reduction sale" without telling me. I've wanted another Swede ever since so I bought the Barrett Fieldcraft.
