best 270 ammo

Ok guys, Im trading for a 270 for my stepson. what are ammo are yall using for deer in that caliber.

Federal Fusion is some solid performing ammo. I shoot a .270WIN in 130gr. and it has performed flawlessly. 3/4" groups at 100yds, and DRT results on whitetails and pigs. Great round and not expensive either.

For deer, this is what I would suggest if it shoots good out of your rifle. Any standard cup and core bullet out of a .270 win will be more than enough for whitetail.

I’ve shot the Winchester Silver Ballistic tips...accurate & expand for lots of damage as expected, deer don’t travel far

The Fusion is good & accurate but I noticed it leaves my barrel dirtier than other ammo

The Nosler Accubond is also accurate & provides deeper penetration...good for elk too

For a factory ammo. Look at the Winchester Supreme Accubond CT. Excellent accuracy and results on downed game.
