No Long Range at Best of the West

Just seen that all long range (250/500/750/1000) at Best of the West is no longer offered.

Quick word that I heard today was something concerning a new land developer getting the land beyond the range.



Anyone have contacts at another local range, as there are MANY qualified long range shooters that will need to find a new home?

This is bad news! That place is right down the street and I enjoyed shooting on the long range side. I'll ask around to see what I can find out, but find it hard to believe a developer would want to buy that right up against a shooting range....

Just seen this from another forum.....

"Talking to a guy at the Friends of NRA dinner in Georgetown last night, he texted the contractor that will be working at the range. Adding eyebrows and improving the berms. Hoping to reopen long range in October."

Hoping this is the case.
