.375 ruger or H&h, you already have something that covers most anything why not get something that will cover anything that might walk by you

Between the two you have I would go 30–06 because it has more availability in bullet grains/types.

Just buy both. It’ll eventually happen anyhow

As a shooter I say .270 - it’s pretty flat and decently fast. It will reach out and touch.

As a hunting round I say 30.06 - 150 grain is plenty for deer, speed goats, sheep, etc. but shoot some 200 grain heavies and it will thump elk and bigger game.

I'd go 30-06 if I had to choose between the two, even though I have two 270's and only one 30-06. 243 covers predators up to deer, if needed. 6.5 and 308 can do the same, but also pull range duty. 270's are great deer guns but I want a bigger bullet for bigger critters. I prefer a 300 mag over 30-06.

If it's not illegal to own a creedmore before a 30-06....it should be!

Bestest at being second to the 3006

Unless you’re planning on shooting beyond 600yds, there’s no reason to buy either.

The guns you have can kill a deer. I would rather take a 30-06 for elk or nilgai if ever an option. Like others said, something a little bigger would fill the void better
