Think this is larue trying to diversify cause ARs are slowing down, especially higher end

I absolutely love this idea of a pistol! You can use an AR pistol brace, throw a suppressor on it. and have a 12” barrel 308.

A barreled action is all you're getting for that money. (at least, that's the way I read it)

Chassis appears to be either extra, or buy your own.

I'll never understand what an "ugly" action looks like. I have heard people say that about just about everything (Savage, Ruger, etc). I see a functional device

I like the ARC actions much better, but that's just me. I def don't hate the Larue action but that Larue chassis is yikes.
