    Suppressor Maintenance Question

I’ve been running a YHM Phantom for a couple of years and really haven’t done anything to it aside from some lube on the threads to keep it from seizing up. I’ve seen some videos and articles with people saying they’re putting lithium grease inside the suppressor. While it smokes a little on the first couple of shots, it helps with the suppression.

Is anyone doing this with their suppressors? Just want to make sure I’m not missing out on something to extend the life on my suppressor.

Maintenance would be shooting it. Or maybe shooting it faster to blow some stuff out. Silencerco said I could dip mine in mineral spirits if I really wanted to.

You don’t need to do anything to a centerfire can. Just shoot it.
