You can buy a NIB LH Rem 700 SA with bolt and trigger for $375~400 (action, not complete rifle). Ask HCR if they can honor that price and order it for you. LH rifles tend to hold their value due to supply and demand. Less LH shooters so sellers can remain firm on their selling prices. You will pay $475 - $600 for a complete rifle, then have to part it out.

Most GS's can just pick up the phone and call Remington firearms wholesaler and order a NIB action with bolt and trigger. SA's are harder to find than LA's. Cheapest I've seen a NIB 700 SA stainless steel action with bolt and trigger is $339 shipped. Look around and you may find one. As mentioned above, go to your local Walmart or Academy and see if they have any Rem 700 LH ADL synthetics on sale. They may still offer a $25 - $50 rebate thru Rem

    Hope that helps brother

The reason I am for sure using HCR is because I got a $500 gift card from my father for Christmas to there.

10-4. They build a nice rifle just high dollar. If youre being price concious as the op would suggest you still have options for that gift card and putting something together you like

        Not op but subsequentent ones

I would use that $500 gift card toward a good action. Take the components somewhere else and save yourself a couple of grand on a new rifle built somewhere else. Not saying they are not great, but a nice custom doesn’t need to be that expensive.
