The V6 uses The same glass from Zeiss’s Victory line of scopes. Which is a major upgrade over the HD5 glass. I have had the V6 for about 4 or 5 months now and it’s way better than the HD5 in many aspects. I also own two HD5’s that have been good to me. They just don’t compare to the V6. With that said the HD5 is a great deal to be had at $700. I don’t think you can go wrong at that price point.

I have noticed their prices are all over the place. I bought 2 6.5-20 HD5s from camera land a couple years ago for $550 shipped each. Seen them as high as $1100. I think $500-600 is a fair retail price. Glass was good for the money. Target turrets weren’t the best and no good reticle options for hold overs. I mounted mine in Talley rings. If on an AR look at the ADM mounts. You can buy different size rings and keep the mount base. Larue is good but I prefer ADM. I’d like to find a 3-15 for 500 or less lol.

They don’t make a 6.5-20 in the HD5 you dork.

Maybe that feller in the other thread was right about you. [emoji12]

                    False.

Made in Germany and also has locking ballistic turrets.
