we had one like that at a local gun shop he kept telling me i needed to by a glock ( good guns to be sure, but i hate them for my use)... turned out he was the owners son, after a few minutes of him running his mouth i looked at the owner and asked if "we " could use his range a few minutes.... i took the boy to school on his own range while his dad laughed .... kid never ran his mouth while i was in the shop again.....( 30 years as an leo 28 as firearms instructor multiple shooting schools and several matches along with 2 medals in the state police Olympics with pistol,,,, dad knew all this and enjoyed his son getting a lesson in "sales etiquette "

Settle on a caliber and spend as much time as you can at the rifle range. You owe it to the animal to deliver a quick death. A well placed round usually works well regardless of the caliber. Good luck.
