I'm wanting to add pillars to my boyd's varmint thumbhole stock for a TC Compass. Anyone done that yet?

LH stock in a RH bolt?
Or, is that a RH stock and a LH Thumbhole?

Yep, Left hand stock for a right handed action. Didn't know they made such an animal.

How hard is it to shoot for a right hand shooter?

It is doable. My son has a right handed one and I will shoot it occasionally. Not real comfortable, but doable.

                Looks great!

What did you use for trigger guard metal? I’m guessing Boyds sold you one to go with the stock?

I was really surprised how much I liked this stock, especially for how cheap it was. I was switching out several and not liking them and picked this up as a cheap temp until I found the one I wanted and ended up just sticking with the Boyds. Bedded and inletted for CDI bottom metal. I'd definitely recommend it.
Please elaborate on this paint job!! I like it!

Look up V3 precision on YouTube. He has done a lot with the t/c compass. Even putts pillars and beds in a Boyd’s stock.
