Tell me about the 17wsm

I think they are kind of cool, but I would by a 17 Hornet before I would buy a 17 WSM. Ballistically they are probably very close, but the Hornet I could reload. I am sure it would come out cheaper in the long run. I would love to get a 17 Hornet, been a thought of mine for a while, just can't spend the money on one right now.

17WSM...20 gr vmax = 3,000 fps RF
17HH ... 20 gr vmax = 3,650 fps CF (11 grs powder)

I can reload 636 HH cases with a pound of powder which = .047 cents worth of powder per charge
