    Athlon optics owners??

These have been out for a little while now. Can anyone who has owned them or has experience with them chime in on the quality of these optics? Glass clarity, tracking, etc?

Would really like to hear if anyone has a good comparison of the Ares vs less expensive models like the Argos or Helos.
Is the Glass on the Ares noticeably better?

    Thanks

No, but I just saw these as a great inexpensive long distance optic. I may pick up the 4.5-27 one...just trying to decide if I want to stick with MOA or jump over to MIL.

I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna order an Athlon. Just wondering if the Ares is worth the extra money..

I was only looking at the Ares, per the reviews I had read.

I've got an Athlon Ares btr 4.5-27 moa. It's got glass on par with my nf nxs. Better than my gen 1 viper pst. It's got a lot of features for the money. Some say turrets are mushy. I think it's nit picky. They aren't as crisp as my gen 2 razor or nxs but they aren't mushy. They are perfectly acceptable imo.

At this point is have a hard time justifying the price jump to the nf atacr or razor gen 2

Have you been behind any of their less expensive models? Wondering how they compare to the Ares.

Not one of the models you listed but I picked up an Athlon Midas (SFP) for my predator rifle because I was working with a budget. Given the chance again I would have saved my funds and went with a Leupold VX3.

I’ve been researching the Argos BTR. I’m going to go ahead and order one. https://aandjsporting.com/ has a discount code to get $50 in accessories if you buy a scope $350 or more. The code is $50 free

I've sold several and been very pleased with the quality.

I currently shoot a Bushnell Elite Tactical, the Ares has glass on par, if not a tad brighter than my Bushnell for much less $$. The Argos and Midas are nice as well, but the Ares is noticeably better (as to be expected for the price increase). I would have to say that Athlon scopes are at least as good as scopes costing 50% more.
