    Gun value

I have a Winchester Model 12 in 16 gauge. It has a 28" full choke barrel, no rib. Serial # shows mfg date 1936.

The gun is designed to be taken apart and transported in a hard case.

    Any info would help

Gunbroker? I would say 7 to 1500. Depending on shape.

If that cloudiness on the receiver is rust stippling then 200 to 400. When you look at Gunbroker you can see completed sales if you are signed in. That gives a pretty good idea of what it is worth.

Yes all Mdl 12s come apart just like that.
              Being a 16 it's a niche buyers market.
I just sold one built in 41 that had a solid milled rib, no rust or major finish wear.
              Got $400 for it.

                Good estimate of its value.

Can anyone tell me what these #'s stamped on the hard case mean? They don't match the serial #
