    Early ar15 carbines

I have a guy who has an older carbin he says it from the early 90’s but I am not sure if its a part gun. He says its original. It has an A1 style carry handle, A2 style lower with A1 grip. It says M4 carbine cal. 5.56. Could someone that would know PM their cell so I can forward pics and see if they would know if its a part gun or original?

The upper had a tear drop forward assist also. He said he is the second owner so that is another reason I question the rifle.

Is it a Colt? A A1, would be older than 90s. As for pictures, they have to be pretty small to post on this sight.

I'm not much of an AR 15 guy but I thunked of this.
"Commie" rifles like SKS & Mosin Nagants have matching serial numbers on different components on their rifles.
A Mosin Nagant & SKS have numbers on the magazine floor plate, the bolt and the receiver housing. If they hadn't been jack with they should have all matching numbers.
I don't have a clue if AR 15 manufactures do this.
