What spotting scope are you using and do you like it?

I've got an athlon cronus 20-60x86. Been very happy with the clarity for the price.

I recently got a Swarovski ATX 85mm and I LOVE it! Next thing I’m going to get is the 1.7 Extender that’ll take it all the way out to 110x if I need it. It was a ridiculous price even with a professional discount but it’s a life-long purchase. I like the angled scope for glassing while hunting so I went that route but if I was buying a scope JUST for shooting, I would have gotten a straight scope.

I liked both the Meopta and the Vortex Razor scopes but they just don’t match the Swaro and I can break the ATX into 2 pieces for more compact transport and easier stowing in a backpack. That’s a pretty great feature.

I have a Vortex Razor 27-60x85 that’s pretty good. Make sure you get a good tripod. Good spotter on a bad tripod does not bring out the potential of the good glass.
