Barrel and Stock Not Lined Up

Tru removing the stock from the action and reinstall. Snug up the rear action screw (not tight) and then snug the forward action screw while using your off hand to manipulate the correct stock/barrel gap. Then tighten rear screw. Then tighten forward screw.

Make sure on a savage that you don't tighten the rear action screw too much. This will affect your accuracy.
