    Got a badger!

Sitting out watching some does and this guy pops up at 167 yards. Only had my .308 suppressed with me and decided to take a shot. Missed him the first time but second shot connected. Weird thing is I can’t tell where I hit him. As I approached I heard hissing and found another one in a hole right next to him.... pretty scary moment, I’m not gonna lie. He wouldn’t pop out so I grabbed this one quick and made my way out. He has a small scratch on his chin but that’s all I can find! Bleeding heavily from mouth. I was really worried the 308 would blow him apart but I guess I lucked out! I’m going to do a full body mount on him... anyone have pics of ones you have had mounted?

Nice! My buddy shot one last year with a .223 that was kinda like you're talking. When I pulled him out of the hole you couldn't tell nothin was wrong with him. Turns out he hit him on the bridge of the nose. Wasn't no blood leaking out of the wound or anything. The only visible damage was its jaw was a little crooked.

Wonder what a badger mount goes for? Cool critters.

When I heard what they wanted to do a full mount,I gave the taxi my hide and told him to do as he wished with HIS badger.
