Are there any AK gurus on here? I am much more familiar with ARs and got this AK on a trade. The owner bought it new and has put less than a magazine through it. It has the original wooden thumbhole stock and a choate stock with it. It also came with 5-6 boxes Norinco branded ammo, 2 - 30rd and 1- 5 rd magazine. From what I've read, its a milled reciever and that's where my knowledge ends. I don't know how to post pics. Thanks

Bought one of the MAK-90s in the early 1990s that was a little different, chambered in 223. Mine didn't include nearly as much stuff 2 standard AK mags with a follower that worked with 223. fun guns to blast away with and in running a few hundred rounds through it never a hiccup, all fed and functioned well. Was a fun gun to go blasting with but traded it off after just a few years for something I enjoyed more.Comment

This is the ONLY gun I have ever sold. It blew up in my face while firing.
Bought one at gun show in the mid 90's and a case of 1,000rds 7.62x39. Headed out to the property to put it through its paces. Your version looks as if it is a milled receiver, which is a much stronger version compared to the usual stamped steel versions.
Anyway, we had the Hellfire attachment on the trigger guard and rat tat tat tating away. During a mag dump, the bolt didn't lock up with the breech face but the firing pin made contact with the round. Detonating it. The bolt flew back and popped the receiver cover off and bounced off the rail holding the bolt. I didn't get hurt, but I had a few parts from the gun fly off. Turns out the breech block broke which did not allow the bolt to lock up into battery and let the gasses do their job. I picked up what ever pieces I could find, put in a bag and sold at the next Gun show "as is" Broken. Got what I paid $200. Yours looks like a better made version being milled. Keep it well lubed wear eye protection when you shoot it. It may be Norinco, but it is still Chinese.Comment
