Ammo Recommendations for Ruger M77 Mark II 22-250

My daughter inherited a Ruger M77 Mark II from her Grandfather. In the past the rifle was sighted in using PMC 55 grain PSP ammo. Now that we’re down to a handful of bullets we are looking to buy more ammo to deer hunt. Can anyone with this rifle/caliber experience recommend a good bullet manufacturer and grain size for a 75 yard max shot at a deer on feeder? Also, how do you determine the twist rate on a barrel?

55 grain softpoints should do the trick.

The 1 in 14 twist might stabilize the 64 grain nosler bonded bullet, but if not, the 55 gr federal fusion will.

Federal fusion and the loads with the 60gr partitions are good to go. I have killed lots of deer with the PMC loads in the pic but those are no longer available. The fusion and partitions were designed for deer hunting and will do a good job
