A BDL and CDL are the same action and bottom metal. The CDL that I had in 280 Rem had a magnum contour barrel. I put a Bell and Carlson on it which required just a little bit of material to be removed from the forward half of the barrel channel.
I can't say enough good about McMillian stocks myself. The standard fill weighs a bit less then a B&C and you can shave quite a bit off of that with their "edge" fill. There is a few limitations to the edge fill I believe such as style and color options.
The second stock is a bit heavier and really designed for a Sendero profile barrel, just showing two different colors. There's an endless choice of colors to choose from with the above being two of the more popular. They likely have these in their store which would only require the barrel to be inletted. Delivery for these in the store is usually 2-3 weeks vs. 6 months for a one off.
Grayboe through redhawkrifles.com have two and are great for a budget, feel better than a B&C, which both are still good though. Check out Redhawk for pricing, there usually hard to beat and run specials pretty regular.

That Grayboe is a good looking stock for the money. I believe APR has moved to these for their standard offering in the Maverick / Ranger line of rifles. If Robert and Jason are willing to put their name behind them, that's a darn good endorsement right there.
