One Shot lube takes a lot of spray to make work. Brass needs to be soaking wet and then let dry some. I tried it for a while and went back to the old tried and true RCBS gel and pad.
Wash and clean the dies and use solvent and cean hell out of the expander ball especially the crosshatched portion. Re lube the inside of die with a light coat of RCBS gel or completely fill with One Shot and shake out the excess and let dry.
Too much will dent the cases. Not enough will stick especially the expander ball.
Chamfer case mouths inside and out.

I almost never full length re size belted cases. No need IMO because once fired it no longer head spaces on the belt. The case stretches when fired and it now headspaces off the shoulder. If being fired from a different rifle then yes. Must be full length re sized.

I prefer imperial to one shot for case lube and I've read of guys solving some issues like this by going to imperial. Get some lube down the whole body of the case - you're not just sizing the neck and bumping the shoulder. If this isn't it, I'd suspect the die is out of spec.

Man do i feel dumb.... Tried some Imperial wax and it is smooth as can be. Crazy that a different lube can make that much difference. This is the only round that has had a problem with the One Shot. Oh well, I appreciate everyone's help and now I'm back to loading!

One more question while we are on the subject. A friend suggested buying a Lee Collett die. Apparently this die only resizes the neck and bumps the shoulder back. As mentioned above, I do not want to full length resize the case after it has been fire formed to the chamber. Anyone using on these dies? How well do they work?

personally, the Whidden die is all you need as you can control bullet seating neck tension with the bushings

I do think you weren't using enough and not in the right places. I use that spray all the time. Never a single issue.

I use Redding competition bushing dies. 3 piece set. Same thing. I'd choose whidden or Redding way over Lee. Not a fan of Lee for chasing accuracy. Fine for plinking ammo. You can buy the Redding dies individually as well. I've got 4 dies for my 7 depending on what I want to do.
