    Ever un-link linked ammunition?

A friend gave me a lot of ammo - all linked, along with a bag of links, and a linker. The plan was always to keep the ammo, and trade off the linker / links because I don't own a 1919A4. I didn't realize the linker also de-linked the ammo!

10 minutes - 402 rounds of 7.62 M80 - de-linked! I was going to trade off the tool... but I'm kinda considering keeping it now. I've had to de-link ammo before by hand, and it was no fun. But then again... I've only done it three times in the past 8 years... Decisions, decisions....

    All the best,
    Glenn

First time I used the delinker at work I did a belt of 800 7.62...and then was shown that I pressed them in backwards. That was a long night lol.

You need to lay off the Quack! (I kid, I kid! )

It was given to me as a returned favor for items I've given to him / built for him in the past. 402 rounds of Lake City 7.62 is about $250 worth, and way too heavy to hang on the wall. It's getting shot through my LR-308, and he full expected that.
        All the best,
        Glenn

Little tab at the bottom that goes into the extractor groove up near the projectile instead?

Yessir! I blame it on a long day and 8 or 10 Miller lites.

Glenn, that was a work/show Jeep that a friend of mine built. I don’t know any of the specs on it, we just used it to show off our guns.
