    Ammo Availability?

Went to the gun store today and looked at a nice Savage Axis w/Weaver scope - 6.5 Creedmoor..However, when I asked about ammo availability the clerk informed me they were out. Looking online at Bass Pro, Cabelas, and Academy (All stores I would be willing to drive to for ammo on the fly), they had very limited options.

Now to the question for discussion:

Where do you guys find a large variety from a brick and mortar location?
I don't want to have to buy online and wait for shipping.

Maybe I’m the only one in my area that shoots a 6.5. I can go on any given day to Academy or Cabelas and they have plenty. I usually buy most all guns/ammo from a local feed store but if they’re out the ones I mentioned have what I need.

I went by academy in New Caney today and there was plenty of 6.5 ammo.

I I don't know what a "large" selection is but I can usually find 3-4 6.5cm loads at the gun shop in Uvalde or at Mumme's feed in Hondo. I order most of my ammo, though, if I'm not reloading

Walmart in Bridge City has 6.5 Creedmore in three different flavors sitting on the shelf.

it's deer season in Texas. Ammo is always in a lower supply at the start. Not out just a touch lower.

If you're in Garland did you try B&S, or SAWS?
