Remington 700 swivel stud thread size?

I have a Remington 700 Mountain SS with the Bell & Carlson stock on it. The sling swivels are machine threads, not the wood screw type of studs.

I am wanting to add a sling with push button quick releases vs the standard rifle release. They don't have to be flush. Does anyone know of such an animal? It is probably just the terminology I am searching...

I just want a the female portion of the push button quick release with a stud that will thread into my stock with having to drill it out for flush cups.

Anyone know what thread size it would need to be to thread into my stock? I can take the stud to home depot and test it, but if someone here already knows.....

    Thanks for your help!

I did this recently with a Manners stock that only had one stud.

Drill the second hole and added the rail piece. It has one flush cup.

Call Brownells and get one of their techs on the phone--they'll point you in the right direction.

I'd give Grovtec a call, this is the closest thing I saw that might work if the threads match.

Brownell's was no help....I called B&C and the girl told me that the thread size was 10-32, I think these will work if the screw is long enough...if not I can just get a longer one.

I realize this is an older thread but actually, there are two other options. The GrovTec GTSW235 push button base to swivel stud adaptor https://grovtec.com/products/push-bu...o-stud-adaptor

or the GTSW267 push button base https://grovtec.com/products/stock-a...button-adaptor You just wouldn't need the bottom plate.
