Just saw this yesterday. I was planning on building a full custom this time around. I was planning on using a Curtis action but this popped up on my Facebook feed. Anyone know anything about them? Is it even a quality action?

Not really. If you do your shopping you can usually find a Stiller for under $1k.

There's usually a reason lol. Pretty sure it's just a hopped up 700. Stiller is 950. And a big difference from a Remington. Then defiance is a big step up from stiller. I like the field removable firing pin assembly GW has.

West Texas Ordnance sells them under 1k too. Bought their claymore which is a predator with their name on it. They built the rifle too obviously. Not sure if they'll sell just the action. Probably will.

Yessir. You can find them for "sell" for under 1K. Heck, as stated above, just ask for their best "sell" price.

Blake, have you tried a Curtis action? If so how do you feel it compares to a Kelbly?

Yep, I'd get a Kelby or a Curtis over that GW action if I had to pawn my wedding ring or work a month of Sunday's to do it. I've never been a fan of their stuff - always way over priced because everybody sees them on TV. Not to mention the finish on the action on their store page is 'fugly!' Lol!
