Cost to adjust a gas block?

A friend of a friend adjusted a fixed gas block on an AR for me. Said it was drilled wrong and adjusted it. He doesn't want any money but I feel it's worth something.
    What would a gunsmith charge?

Pretty sure he doesn't drink or that might work

In that case, an ice cold selection of his favorite non-alcoholic beverage (I usually request 6 to 12 IBC root beers)

        All the best,

Friend of a friend that does something like is a new friend to me. I'm not one to make a dollar of off a friend or a friends friend if I know how to easily fix something.

Selling something is a little different. I won't make a dollar off of something if I sell it to a friend but will make a little of a friends friend of o don't know them.

Maybe some craft root beer or soda? There’s tons of neat ones out there. My daughter and I love finding new ones.

Or, a thoughtful gift (that is the Mrs department)

            Or, maybe a niche tool.

Get him some beer or a grill him a good steak. A new adjustable gas block is only $50-60 so drilling one out shouldn’t be that much

When I do things like this from someone I usually pull a line from the godfather.

Agreed. And if he works on firearms a lot - Brownells or MidwayUSA gift cards might come in handy for him to buy other tools / parts, etc...
