I bedded my recoil lug and free floated a couple of rifles myself with JB Weld. Was pretty simple but a bit of messy task - there are a ton of good youtube videos that show you the process for prepping, applying release agent. etc.. educate yourself and you can do it in an evening. Improved my groups pretty well.
Note* if you have an extruded plastic stock it may not help a ton.

RobinHood, this is the best video I have encountered on the bedding subject and I couldn't recommend strongly enough the benefits of doing it to every rifle. However, if you want the biggest improvement in accuracy especially, in the CDL, upgrade to a quality trigger.

A trigger upgrade is the surest way to cut your group size in half if your rifle doesn't have inherent problems. I recommend Jewell but they are pricey. Timney (I have two) work very, very well for about $120 shipped. By combining the two steps, I use them as a problem eliminator so you can focus more on precision.

        Thanks, Mark!
Drop that trigger down another lb. and watch the difference it makes!

          Thanks.
I already got it back from getting it bedded and upgraded the trigger to a Timney. Shot it yesterday and I'm amazed at the difference. [emoji1303]
