Anybody with Remington Model Seven 308 Experience?

I just got a 308 and it doesn't like the 150 gr Corelokts. Can somebody with one, please tell what your rifle likes? Its a 20" barrel with a 1 in 10 twist.

My M700 in 30-06 does not like them either, but it will put 180's at 100 yards under a quarter.

Like others have stated .. Some guns don't like the lighter bullets.

I got 2 ... 30-06's and 1 can shoot a variety of bullet weights and the other one likes 165 Gr Bullets (1/2" 5 shot groups at 100 yards)..

Remington has only two rates of twist for the 30 caliber rifles; 1:10 and 1:12 1:12 is strange to me. Who varmint hunts with a 308?. They tried to bridge a large gap with only the two twist rates. The military settled on the 1:11.25 to better stabilize the 168-175s. Technically, the 1:10 should be reserved for 178-220 grainers but it will handle the middle weight classes okay. Just don't expect match grade accuracy.

That 10 twist is for heavy bullets. Need 180+.
