    Left Handed Trigger Recomendations

I'm currently building a rifle right now and am looking for trigger recommendations. The action is a left handed Remington 700 SPS Varmit in 22-250 who's sole purpose will be to hand out dirt naps to predators. Currently I'm looking at Timney but am open to suggestions. Thanks

I was hesitant when buying my last two triggers, as I really wanted Jewell triggers. But I ended up buying two of the flat faced Timney's and have been very pleased.

I noticed that one of the Timney left-hand triggers is a flat faced trigger. Knowing what I know now, I'd buy one if I were looking for a left-hand trigger.

    All the best,
    Glenn

I consider myself well versed on guns and such but I’ve never heard of a specific hand for triggers.

On a 700 style, the Safety is one one side or the other.

I hadn't either, until my left-handed son started shooting bolt action and wanted a left hand 700 of his own. I'm attaching a pic of a LH Remington 700 action that shows the safety on the left side.

Funny thing is... I've always thought the Remington 700 safety's were on the wrong side and too far forward. I'd like to just flick it with my thumb, instead of bringing my thumb back over the wrist of the stock and moving my hand slightly forward to change it.

          All the best,
          Glenn

I know some triggers come without the safety, and you can re-use the safety from your original trigger. However, I'm not sure aftermarket triggers without safety's can accept the mechanism from both LH or RH. I've never done it. Something like this Shilen, that states:

Note: This trigger does not come with a safety. You must use the safety from your original Rem 700 trigger.
