300 blk ruger ranch rifle reviews

anyone got one? I am considering one to leave in my truck. I know the predator in 6.5 is crazy accurate but is the 300 ranch? I have an ar in 300 that shoots. 5moa but I would like a bolt gun that is short and maneuverable and accurate

Look at the 7.62x39 better for everything but subs.

I like mine a lot and I am impressed with the accuracy. My only complaint is the bolt can be hard to close. Sometimes I have to slam it shut. It's not the ammo because it'll do that empty.

I bought one, replaced the cheap stock with a Boyd's and love it. It's my hog thumper. Subs don't expand well but it is so quiet. Put a bead on their head and it's done

Have one new in the box( ranch model with threaded bbl) that I have not gotten to yet. Picked it up in Fredricksburg a few months ago. The stock does feel a bit cheap, but it points good and has good balance. I'm sure with a Boyds it will change the whole feel of the gun. Bolt is a little tough to close, but I figure that will change with wear.

I really like the ruger ranch, and predator rifles. Pull the stock off and Dremel the forend a little so the barrel free floats, adjust trigger to your liking and go shoot. Been thinking about picking another one up in .450 bushmaster. You don't have to be as accurate when you launch a canon ball at something... I kid I kid.

I love mine! Both the caliber and the gun.
