LTC website for rules of carrying. Website for carrying in your car without LTC.

Needing the website for the rules and laws concerning LTC carry. Also need the website with the rules and laws on carrying in your car without your LTC. Penal codes or sub chapters would be great. Need this to double check some info and then to shut up a " I know everything " at work guy. Getting tired of listening to him daily that he knows everything.

    Thanks guys

The information listed on knives has not been updated yet. Illegal knives do not exist per se anymore. Just restrictions on concealed carry.

One thing to remember is that you wont find laws saying what is legal. Only what is illegal.

Not so fast. That is not correct that illegal knives do not exist per se. They do still exist.

Now the definition is called a "location restricted" knife. Generally in the public like walking into Walmart with a sword on your hip is not illegal as of September 1.

The law now reads that a person under 18 cannot carry a location restricted knife in public. It also says that there are still restricted locations (hence the newly titled definition) for everyone like on school grounds, grounds where school sponsored events are happening, polling places, courts or offices being used in conjunction with courts, racetrack premises, secured area of airports, etc.

It also applies to alcohol 51% locations.

So, while you can generally carry in the public, most of the old restrictions of locations where some weapons are prohibited still stands and according to location can be up to a 3rd degree felony.

The definitions of dagger, bowie knife, spear, etc., have been taken out and the (illegal) location restricted knife is now one with a blade of over 5.5" only.

I would hate to see someone walk into a bar with a Ka-Bar Marine fighting knife on his hip and unknowingly commit a crime because of TBH legal advice.

And someone doesn't have to believe me either. For your reading pleasure......

If they are "location restricted" then they are no longer Illegal knives....LOL

You can now have them and carry them with just a few limited caveats. Which is much different than 1 month ago.
