    ABM for heavy stuff.

    Barnes vortx TSX 150 grain shoots extremely well in a semi factory ruger of mine. My dad will be taking it on our elk hunt.

      I shoot the Barnes 165 Grain TTX, but you cant go wrong with Nosler Accubonds either. I shoot those out of my 300 Weatherby.

        I got two 300wm
        #1 likes 180gr federal classic 1/2 Moa model 70 beded never lost anything DRT
        #2 likes 180gr hornday heavy mag savage 116 kills anything out to 8-900 meters DRT

        The Winchester 70 has been from Mexico to the artic circle one shot kills 100% with federal classic

              Anyone having any luck with 300wm hornady 165gr gmx.

                Last season I tried some Hornady 180gr SST Superformance and my Winchester model 70 hated it.
                But, every rifle is different... only advice I can offer is I hope you have a brake installed before you go on this endevour LOL

                      Had a Holland break installed.
