Flat shooting - good deer gun, but also small enough for turkeys, javi's, coyote's etc. Rifle seems to get banged around/really dusty in the truck & high rack. Not many moving parts on the TC, so I like its simplicity.
I like it for the simplicity of it too. Love the 25-06 too
I have the encore hand gun, 15 inch barrels. 7mm bench rest. And 454 casull , both have 2-7 power Burris scopes. Have harvested elk with the casull barrel, have only shot the bench rest at targets. 100 yards a buddy of mine had a 1 inch three shot group. I can keep about a 2 inch group, most times.
I have the handgun with the factory brake in 35 Rem. Shoots 3/4" at 100 if I have not had too much coffee. I also have a 7mm-08 rifle that shoots minute of Volkswagen! Have not made it a priority to sort it out. I need to get going on that.
I have the 7mm-08 in a 24" rifle barrel that is a shooter. I just picked up a 24" 6.5 Creedmoor heavy barrel that I have not had a chance to shoot yet.
I have a 280 and shotgun. My favorite to carry turkey hunting in the spring. Super light but it kicks like a mule. Turkeys don't fare well against it either!
