    Scope recommendations 25-06

I'm looking for something that's clearer at low light situations than what I have now. I've been looking at the Burris veracity, tract toric and the ziess hd5. Anyone have any suggestions?

        What's your budget?

Have you looked at Athlon Optics?

I have a leupold 6-18x50 on my Remington 700. I think that is plenty good for close up and top end kill range for the 25-06 caliber.

Look at the SFWA SS. I have the fixed 10 and it will shoot past legal light easy.

The non HD vx6 is a solid scope within your budget. The HD5 is good glass. Their are some pretty good choices in the $800 range for a hunting scope.

Most definitely this...look for a good used 3-18x44 VX6 Leupy.

Gonna be hard to beat with your budget 88

Leupold VX-3i is nice glass in my opinion and this here is a good deal with the CDS turret and side focus

Stay Far Away from Vortex if good low-light visibility is of concern. My 10 year old Nikon $150 scope is night and day clearer than my Diamondback Vortex. During normal light, the Vortex is very clear.

I'll add to the above and look for a non HD VX6. They're hard to find for $800 but not impossible. When I say hard to find, it was for me as I was looking for a specific model with a wing plex reticle and zero stop. Additionally, the price increase of the HD model has boosted the used market of the non HD models by just a bit.

If you can't find what you're looking for, you could get a new VX3i within your budget.

IMO-the VX6 3-18 is the best scope to come along in a long time in that price range.

I have the diamondback on it right now and low light is horrible, also have two vipers that aren't any better. I bought a vx3i for my sons rifle haven't really had a chance to shoot through it yet I was just wanting to get some good glass for my 25 since it's always my go to rifle.
