I just got this pistol engraved as a gift for my father in law. He lives in Abilene and loves all things having to do with cowboy heritage and ranching etc. So I told my wife we should get a Colt SAA 45 for Christmas/birthday and get it engraved. I found the pistol (which is not easy to find a good one) at the first of the year and bought it. Had it sent to the engraver and had some of the famous ranch brands put on it, scrolling, designs etc. I also had my father in law's ranch brand and initials on the handle and new bone handles put on the grips. I just received it today. He is going to flip out when he gets this, not sure I can wait until Christmas to give to him. The pictures don't do it justice. It is far better in person than the pictures can portray. I think it turned out spectacular.
