    primary arms red dot

anyone used them? considering one for a .22 pistol

I have the Advanced micro dot on a Colt and have no complaints. I prefer it over both the Vortex Sparc II and Strikefire II that I've owned. The only other red dot I've had was the Aimpoint Pro ; And, while these 2 are different, I have nothing bad to say about a dot that is under $200. You can't go wrong IMO.

Primary Arms is a first class outfit.

Yes very good quality for the money. Have the microdot and a larger one. Both work well with excellent battery life

Yup I have the advanced micro dot. It's supposed to have some crazy 50000 hr battery life or something but I didn't get a year out of the battery that came with it. I wasn't really expecting to though. Other than that it's been a great sight. I bought a tango down cover for t1 and after 10 mins with an exacto knife I have a cover that would work with it. I'm pretty impressed with it so far

I've heard nothing but good things about them, been looking at them for a while. Seems to be a great fit if you don't need a "battle ready" optic like an aimpoint

Haven't used their red dot but it has great reviews everywhere I have looked. If it is like the rest of their stuff I bet its pretty legit. I have one of their 4-14x44 FFP with R-Grid reticle and is is great for the $ wont find much if anything better for the $$. My uncle has a Primary Arms 5X Prism Scope with their 223/5.56, 5.45x39, .308 ACSS reticle and I like it a lot. He loves it which says a lot. As a gun smith avid hunter and shooter and weapons trainer he is hard to impress. If there are any issues primary arms customer service is awesome. I haven't had issues but I have called and emailed asking questions and they were on the ball with replies. Not just they but Demetri himself.
