    22 trainers

Does anyone have any 22 trainers they use as a cheaper way to practice rifle skills? Just curious on what your running.

Yep my Remington 40x rf and my 10/22's. My 40x at 300 yards exactly replicates my .308 at 1000

I use a 10/22 and a mk3 ruger. The 10/22 works well to practice carbine work; neither it or my AR have much muzzle rise. The mk3 works well to practice transitions. You have to be careful not to get too used to the lack of recoil with a 22.

40x that's what I was trying to remember. Does it fit a Rem SA stock ?

Here is the 40x's big brother. Model 700 in an HSPrecision stock with a tubb mfg 4 way butt plate (to accommodate my 16.25 inch lop) Atlas bipod, SWFA super sniper 5-20x50, jewell trigger set at 14 Oz, barrel is an obermeyer tight constriction 5r

Nice scope you need a matching one on your 40x

I built my trainer off of a CZ 455 action. It's set up with a USO Sn3 Tpal. Rig weighs in just under 13lbs with full nag, suppressor and bipod. Shoot it out to 400yds. Finger snap quiet.

Too heavy, my 40x doubles as a silhouette/bench rest rifle and tips the scale at 10lbs 1 oz just under maxweight for standard class nra competition
