    Night Vision Scope?

Just wondering about experiences for night hunting hogs, etc.?

I'm old school so NO experience with any brand of night scopes, infrared, etc. I'd love to have one but just getting tight with the $$ in my "old age, lol."

For several years I have used a pic mounted Kill Light/Green for 100 yard shots or less and have not observed ONE critter appear spooked by the light? The way I have it positioned makes the scope clear almost like it was day light..in other words no problem with putting the dot or cross hairs where I want it.

Just wanting to hear some experience as I'm not sure if these "new fangled" night scopes are really worth the $$ vs the trusty green light? Please...don't laugh, you too will watch your $$ as time passes on...but Lord, I love it!

Not impressed with the ATN 5x20X. Between myself and 2 other friends that purchased this scope, we all agree the clarity is not worth the price of the scope. I looked thru another friends old 5x18 ATN and it was noticeably clearer. ATN customer service stinks.

LOL, thanks Push...guess I'll just sit back and wait for fresh responses, but I appreciate it!

Nah...I'll just stay with my green light after going thru the responses...nothing I saw convinced me the $$ are that much better than what I want for 100 yards or less.

I have a Gen II ATN Night Arrow. I've had no problems killing pigs to 150 yards with it. The IR illuminator that comes with it is dim. I bought an aftermarket IR light and mounted it on my handguard that's much, much better. I haven't found ATN's customer service to be bad. My IR illuminator went out and they replaced it promptly at no charge......three times. That's when I decided the illuminator was junk and got something different and much better.

thanks so far for the responses...going to watch for a while but so far, no reason to spend the big $$ for something that has worked for me for less than $200

Yes get in contact with outdoor legacy

You could also get you a sightmark photon. Cheaper than the atn and has less bells and whistles, just turn it on and go
