All this flat land and no long ranges close to SA

Just frustrated. My options for long range are drive hours away and pay stupid amounts of money. Someone needs to create a long distance range close to SA. I'd pay a yearly if it wasn't hours away. There is one range with 300 but you can't shoot prone, only off of a bench, that's where I go for now.

in Kerrville has long range. I think 500-600 yards. Several benches, but not sure if you can shoot prone. 830-995-5118, and ask for Jack.

Your not looking hard enough.
Central Texas Silueta Association In New Braunfels.
It's a members only range and does not cost that much. You can shoot out to 500 yards on paper or siluets. It's a nice range.

Call the bullet hole and ask if you can shoot prone out there. They have 300yds and theres room to go prone by the end of the bench.

I want a 1k+ range. BOTW is all I've reasonably got here. Sucks.

Lone Star Handgun Range has a 300 yard rifle, I believe you can shoot prone. I have been there once it was okay. The RO are another story, they need to get new ones.

South Hills Rifle Range in Utopia. Targets out to 1060. Bench or prone. I drove 1250 miles to shoot there last winter and will again this winter.
