I've been content with slowly measuring every charge on my Redding balance beam scale, dropping from my Hornady powder drop, and trickling in the last few tenths of a grain with my Redding trickler. I use a single stage press and really have no desire to buy a progressive. Probably still will continue using this system for my accuracy rifle loads and most wildcats.
But I'm enticed by the new lower price on the Hornady Autocharge to use on bulk practice ammo - .223, 6.8, .308, .300AAC, and pistol rounds.
Thoughts? Worth it, or just keep being super "retentive" and measuring everything to the 10th of a grain on the balance beam scale? Any known issues?
All the best,
Glenn
