Just because one states he is right doesn't make him right. It is a difference of opinion/interpretation.
Nobody is asking you to accept their behavior or decisions... you are putting your nose in someone else's business to offer your opinion that you don't accept it.

Not hardly. It's more akin to someone using a 100% legal loophole to avoid a tax liability... some call it good business and others might call it unethical, but ultimately it is for each person, and when applicable, the authorities and maybe a jury of peers, to decide on the particulars of a given case.

I'm very confident shooting my AR rifles and agree I can hit what I shoot at. But I use a polymer tipped bullet that will not over penetrate. However with a SBS I would use small shot and not larger buckshot.

An AR15 is definitely a better choice than a shotgun for defending your home. Given that you are comfortable and proficient with both.

I'm just going to say this about the craziness that is gun laws. They are vague, poorly defined, are subject to interpretation, and the penalties are way out of proportion for any violation. I have legal NFA items, and I pray that someday the whole ****ed thing is repealed. But, until that happens, I abide by the letter of the law and avoid doing anything that could be used to prosecute me by a zealous cop, agent, or prosecutor. Felonies are a bad thing, and I don't want one.

It is evident that you are a man who reflects on issues of integrity and the rule of law. So I ask you, if "they try to come and take them" wouldn't "they" (Feds/LEOs) be doing so under the direction and legal protection of a new firearm law or a legally passed restriction? Like say, NFA laws?

It's a slippery slope, dare I say, like speeding? (Your example)

So true. And then I wonder if my nephew were the officer sent to confiscate what them?

Our forefathers were in a tough spot. Let us pray we don't have to make those kinds of choices.

We do.........every time we vote.......and unfortunately many people (some on this forum) that own guns vote for those that are wanting to ban them.
