Help me choose a scope.

I want to get a new scope for my sendero in a 300 win mag. Currently I have a Zeiss terra 3-9x50. I was looking at a Zeiss conquest 5-25x50. I have used the gun for nilgai and a couple oryx. I'm going on a west Texas Aoudad hunt this year. I'll be using the gun for other hunts, mule deer and sheep. Price range $1500 +or-. Any help would be appreciated.

If you want a Zeiss, I would go with the Z5 (even used) instead of the Conquest; however, there are many offerings from Leupold et. al. That fit the bill as well.

Your budget allows for lots of options though

Maybe spend some of the coin on a new trigger if you aren't running a timney or jewell in it also

I have 2 Conquest HD5 5-25X50 with the plex reticle with locking turrets. I really like these scopes. The glass is nice on them. The VX6 is a nice scope also Euro Optics has a few left for $949.
But if you want great glass go with a Swaro as mentioned above.

I can hook you up pretty good on a Swarovski if you want to go that route. A Z5 would fit the bill perfect. There is 3-18x44 and a 5-25x52.

I have a nightforce shv on my sendero and absolutely love it. Holds its 0 in nilgai rigs and it has true 1/4" clicks. I have 100% faith in a miss not bein my scope or gun if it's me or a client shooting

Swarovski's BRH/BRX reticle is a good ballistic reticle and they have an app that you can plug in your ammo or handload data and it will show exactly what you need. I prefer the BRH for hunting because the BRX is too thin for me and doesn't show up the best in low light. The BRH is normal thickness.
