what is your budget ?

bone charcoal color case hardening at Turnbull will set you back $1000+ with a long wait time , that's "If" they decide to do your rifle. You need to submit a request form for Turnbull to confirm if they will work on your firearm.

fyi - color case hardening can cause warpage and isn't advisable to do on modern alloy steels that have been pre-hardened.

Honestly I didn't really have a budget in mind. I just love the look but it kind of seems like more trouble than it's worth lol

There's a lot of folks that do it and do it well. A guy in the panhandle is who I plan to use. His name escaped me lol. I'll figure it out.
