Primary arms micro redot held up on a 45-70. I have 2 of them with no issues to be found.

A Truglo red dot will be plenty good for a turkey gun. Or a Nikon shotgun scope.

Why not ? Seems like it would work well to me.

Burris FF3 works great on my 20ga turkey shotgun.

Why not you state.....Batteries seem to crap out at the most crucial time. I found in bright daylight such as mid morning red dots are hard to see.

I put a Leupold 1x4 variable with heavy duplex on my dedicated turkey gun. The big black reticle is very easy to pick up. Just my experiences.

I put a 4x scope on mine years ago. Small diamond shaped reticle.
I like the magnification at medium range to center your pattern rghtvthere where the feathers stop just below the head.
But works on moving birds too.

second the truglo, I put the 30 mm gobble stopper on my 12 guage probably 5 years ago. it has green or red reticle selections as well as a rheostat brightness settings. ive never had issues with not being able to see the dot, even in bright sun (just turn the brightness up). also before the season starts I check my batteries in it, ive yet to have to change them out, ive even accidentally left the scope on over night and still no issues.
