    Large cal. muzzle brakes

I've been looking at precision armaments brakes. This will be going on a .300 weatherby. Anyone have any other recommendations? Thanks.

Prior to installing a Thunderbeast brake on my 300 Ultra Mag, I was using a brake from JP Enterprises. It's a nice brake, made the RUM feel like a .243

I use the muzzlebrake mount for my YHM Phantom Ti on my .300 RUM. As a bonus it mounts my suppressor. The brake by itself also still does the same recoil dampening as the suppressor.

YHM is a third-generation family-owned business that leads the industry in manufacturing quality silencers, firearms, & more without adding the vanity price tag

JP makes some nice brakes. I personally like their "Recoil Eliminator". Others on the firing line like it... not so much. It's been known to make people on either side of me move quickly. No, I don't do it on purpose... well, maybe a time or two... But usually I warn the nice people that are shooting with me, or I try to find a bay with some side-blast clearance.

        All the best,

Before you buy you need to read a few tests.

This is the first post in a series that will cover the results from an epic muzzle brake field test. This represents an unprecedented, data-driven approach to evaluating the best precision rifle muzzle brakes on the market. Hundreds of hours have gone into this research, and the tests I conducted are built on advice and ...

I'm using a WTO break which is very similar to a Holland quick discharge. Ok my bore rider 7 mag and a Holland on my old 300. Very good and loud lol. It'll ring you for days without plugs but follow up shots are very fast. I shot an antelope on the run offhand twice at 100ish yards last year. That's how quick I can rack the bolt and get back on target with it. I'm running a shrewd on my 6.5-284. Much slimmer. Does great on that gun but not as effective.

Got 7 of them mounted on everything from 243 to 300 WM.

                Look into them!
