    Belly band holsters?

    Looking for recommendations. This will be for running and biking purposes. Not daily carry. I've been on amazon and they are all over the place regarding look and price. I do like the looks of a couple that have a small pocket for cards/phone/keys. My main concerns are something that will stay in place and not float or flop as I run.

    I am in my 34th year of carrying concealed. I think that I have used almost every option out there at some point during that time. I do not like belly bands of any kind. Some work and some don't but I just don't like to have a tight band around my middle. Maybe a skinnier person would have a different opinion.

    But.... The belly bands that I have tried, I liked the Kangaroo Carry the most. That was because unlike some of them, that one has a shoulder strap component. It kept the bellyband in place where I wanted it. I still hated the band around my middle but the holster worked if that is what you're looking for. I am sure there are others out there that have that similar feature. I would look for one that has some kind of a shoulder strap to keep the bellyband from sliding around and mainly up-and-down.

      Thanks tvc. I did just order one (without the shoulder strap) and it only put me out $25. I will only wear it for an hour every other day so hopefully it does the trick. It is the KKUP2U. We will see how it goes.

        My wife uses a simple one like this to conceal a LCP while jogging. No complaints from her.

          I have one that I used but it got real hot when I ran or biked in it. I ended up getting a smaller gun for that and pocket carry. Nothing is perfect of comfortable.

              Maybe we should ask Rick Perry, heard he had a run in with a coyote a while back... but seriously I use a fanny pack when I run or bike. Yes it may look a bit ridiculous but I'm there for exercise and protection not making a fashion statement.
