    SBR Form 1 Question??

Need some help getting educated on filing for an SBR....I do have an NFA trust and have used it to get a stamp on a suppressor.

My plan is to assemble the gun myself once stamp has been received....unless there is some other better prescribed method.

Is filing for an SBR as easy as filling out the application and mailing it in with your trust and a $200 check (and waiting)?

Do you have to/should you go through an FFL?

At what point do you need to get your trust name engraved on the lower?

I engraved my lower prior. I didnt go through an ffl. And yes it is that easy.. Be sure where it asks for your name you put the trust name. Have your barrel picked out so you can knowbrhe overall length to put down. Good luck.

Do you have to submit CLEO signature or a picture of yourself if you are filing under a trust?

E forms is down? If it is not i would file that way over paper, way faster and easier, you will need to know the length of the barrel you intend to put on it and the overall length as well as caliber and S/N of the lower. You'll then upload PDF files of your trust declaration, photo and prints and pay your 200 bucks with a card then wait, and wait and wait and wait

Efile is no longer an option under the new rules that took place last June.

July 13th wasn't it? 41F is just another gouge in the second.

The good part about a paper form is if you make a clerical error a paper form comes back for correcting. E-file it was just rejected.
