    ? About Windham

How accurate are windam weaponry ww-15 ar's? I can't really find anything about its accuracy.

I have one and mine is very accurate out to 300 which is as far as I have been able to shoot it as of yet. I had the best accuracy with Winchester.

If is uses Mil spec parts I would expect it to be as accurate as any other AR.

What grain ammo do you use?

55gr polymer tip. It is accurate with most ammo but these have provided the best groupings.

Thanks! I've had this AR for awhile now about 3 years, but haven't shot it. Going to be my new go to varmint rifle.

Mine will shoot right at an inch at a hundred yards. That's with an NC Star 4x scope and factory trigger. Had it several years and killed more pigs and cototes than I can count with it.

I was issued a windham as my first patrol rifle (with Milspec iron sights) and it was a sad day when I had to give it back. That rifle would shoot the same hole at 25 yards and only using iron sights (with my eyes) it would shoot a half dollar group at 100.

When I had to give mine back, I bought one, the exact same rifle but I chopped and ground the front sight down and free floated the barrel. I carry it every day and my factory issued rounds (55 grn ballistic silver tips) shoot under a dime at 100.

I also built an A3, 20" Milspec ar15 and put a windham barrel on it, it'll also shoot under a dime with hornady 55 vmax.

I love Windham. You won't regret buying one.

I should have bought two at the price I paid.

How do you free float it? I bought a new magpul stock for it. Haven't sighted it in yet.

Do any of yall know if the buffer tube is Milspec or commercial?
The guy at Academy said commercial, but you know how they are.
